Staying

I guess my cousin is staying until further notice. Apparently his parents were disappointed with him, which involved letting the gas in the house turn off, the water left unheated, no food, etc. Poor kid =/

At least it's safe here, with heat and electricity.

Friend

Cousin asked if he could invite a friend over. I didn't see the harm, so I said yes. Now they're sitting on the couch, reading Poe to each other.

Do normal kids do that?

So, uh, I guess he likes reading. Looks like a collection of works from T.S. Eliot.

Maybe he's not completely weird.

Coming to visit

My cousin is coming to visit today, I guess, in a few hours.

Dammit, and I'm going to be the only one home. Why do kids have to come visit when I'm alone?

Writing

So, I've been writing some stuff. A few short stories that I won't share because they suck, a couple papers for school, listening to Linkin Park (shutup), etc.

Is that damn dog seriously still outside? You know what, screw it, I'm calling animal control. That thing has red eyes. It, very obviously, has SOMETHING.

Steampunk

As you all might have gathered, I'm a steampunk fan. And I just saw some guy with steampunk headphones. It was pretty awesome.

On a second note, that dog keeps following me. I wish the owner would chain it or something.

Uh, not much to say. Discovered an awesome book called Boneshaker, by Cherie Priest. Fantastic steampunk novel.

Also, I had to run away from a fairly large dog, today. Talk about adrenaline.
